129Gallery is pleased to announce ‘Rituals’, a Group Exhibition of nine international artists using the medium of video to explore the theme of Rituals. The Exhibition is housed at three other venues on Emser Strasse as well as 129 Gallery, the gallery’s other spaces are Helmut Kohl Bar, Stadt Bistro and Kiezbackerei & Café.

We encourage the viewer to take the time to explore and visit the different venues and really get beneath the surface of the theme of the work and thus undertake a ritual themselves. It is when the viewer explores the deeper, sometimes hard to find territories of the work that they may discover its most rewarding and poignant elements.

In the window of each exhibition space there will be a sheet with a number that corresponds to that venue on a map which can be found in 129Gallery and the other venues.
